Isabelle brings scientific precision and artistic intuition to every batch that leaves our distillery.
Isabelle Marchand joined AAF as a junior blender and quickly proved herself indispensable. With a background in food science from ETH Zürich and an innate ability to detect flavour compounds that elude even the most sophisticated analytical equipment, she rose to Head of Production within five years.
Her philosophy is one of controlled experimentation. Under Isabelle's guidance, AAF has pioneered several proprietary techniques — from extended maceration methods for our botanical liqueurs to a unique double-distillation process that gives our grain spirits their signature velvet texture.
"Science gives us understanding," Isabelle explains, "but intuition gives us beauty. The best spirits live at the intersection of both."
Outside the distillery, Isabelle is an avid forager, often disappearing into woodlands and meadows to discover new botanicals that may find their way into future AAF creations.
