Our Story
Three decades of passion, heritage, and the relentless pursuit of liquid perfection.
Born From a Passion
In 1987, Edward Noir and Catherine Gold — two visionaries united by their love of exceptional spirits — opened a modest boutique in the heart of Manhattan's Lower East Side.
What began as a curated corner of rare whiskies quickly evolved into a destination for collectors, sommeliers, and aficionados from around the world. Their philosophy was simple yet uncompromising: only the extraordinary.
Today, NOIR & GOLD stands as a beacon of luxury in the spirits world — a place where every bottle has earned its place through merit, provenance, and the sheer pleasure it delivers.
What We Stand For
Authenticity
Every bottle is verified for provenance and authenticity. We maintain direct relationships with distilleries and estates worldwide.
Excellence
We refuse to compromise. If a spirit doesn't meet our exacting standards, it simply doesn't make it to our collection.
Connection
We believe that spirits bring people together. Through tastings, events, and personal service, we foster a community of shared passion.
