The Story
Born in the mist-shrouded distilleries of Speyside, The Obsidian Reserve 25 is a testament to patience and mastery. A quarter century of slumbering in first-fill sherry casks has produced a whisky of extraordinary depth — layers of dark chocolate, smoked peat, dried fig, and the unmistakable warmth of ancient oak.
The nose opens with Christmas cake and subtle woodsmoke, giving way to a palate of remarkable complexity. Each sip reveals new dimensions: honeyed malt, cracked black pepper, and a whisper of maritime salt. The finish is impossibly long, fading through waves of espresso and toasted almond.
Only 2,400 bottles released annually. Each bottle is individually numbered and presented in a hand-crafted walnut box.
