The Story
Midnight Ember is a small-batch bourbon of exceptional character, distilled in copper pot stills and aged for fourteen years in heavily charred new American white oak barrels in the rolling hills of Kentucky.
The nose is an immediate embrace of warm caramel, smoked vanilla bean, and toasted pecan. On the palate, waves of dark brown sugar, charred oak, leather, and sweet tobacco unfold with remarkable smoothness. The finish is extraordinarily long — a slow fade through dark cherry, espresso, and a final kiss of cinnamon spice.
