The Story
Château Lumière's 1998 vintage is a wine that has arrived at a moment of perfect maturity. From the gravelly soils of Pauillac, this Grand Cru Classé blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot has spent over two decades evolving into something truly extraordinary.
The colour remains a deep, brooding garnet. The nose is a captivating tapestry of blackcurrant cassis, Virginia cedar, graphite, and dried rose petals. The palate is structured yet silky — perfectly integrated tannins support layers of dark fruit, earth, tobacco leaf, and a hint of truffle.
Decant for two hours before serving. This wine will continue to reward patience for another decade.
